REMINGTON – Going up against the number ninth ranked team in Class 2A Remington on the road, the Moundridge girls struggled for three quarters before finding their offense which in turn cost them as they lost by 13, 44-31.
The loss drops the Lady Wildcats to just 3-7 for the season.
Falling behind by six at 11-5 at the end of the first quarter, Moundridge found themselves down by 12, 23-11 at the halftime break. Down by 15 at the end of the third quarter, the Lady Wildcats finally found some offense in the fourth quarter and put 15 points on the board which made it too late as they suffered the final 13-point defeat.
Cammi Unruh led the Lady Wildcats in scoring with 11 points while Emily Durst chipped in with seven.
