MARION – Riding the scoring of freshman Suttyn Harris, the Inman girls gained a 36-point win on the road Friday at Marion, winning 53-17.
Now 6-4 for the season and riding a four-game win streak, the Lady Teutons are off until Monday, January 23 when they participate in the Sedgwick Mid-Season Tournament.
Inman only held a two-point, 8-6 lead at the end of the first quarter when the offense erupted for 22 points in the second quarter to take a commanding 21-point, 30-9 lead into the halftime break.
After the break, the Lady Teutons put up another 16 points to take a 46-14 lead into the fourth quarter where they then cruised in for the final 36-point victory.
Freshman Suttyn Harris led Lady Teutons offense with 26 points while just missing a double-double with eight rebounds. Senior Maci Neufeld finished the game with 11 points as she connected on three-of-three from beyond the three-point line. Both Taelyn Friesen and Kenna Woods directed the offense as they each dished out three assists.
