GYPSUM – On Thursday the Smoky Valley wrestlers went to Southeast of Saline for a triangular and returned home with three team victories over Hesston, Southeast of Saline and Ellinwood.
As a team the Vikings won 45-30 over Hesston, won 39-33 over Southeast of Saline and won again 52-18 over Ellinwood.
Five Vikings finished the day unbeaten at 3-0 including Devonte Crain, Connor Barnes, Takoda Hauck, Richard Zeller, and Justin Holt.
Parker Gardner, Andrew Young, and Geo Luis all finished 2-1 as well.
Next up for the Viking wrestlers was to be a trip to Remington on Friday.
