SEDGWICK – On Thursday the Moundridge girls earned a spot in the championship game of the Sedgwick Invitational with a 14-point, 50-36 win over Belle Plaine.
The Lady Wildcats were scheduled to play Chaparral in the championship game on Friday.
Moundridge took a seven-point, 17-10 lead at the end of the first quarter and built it to a 13-point, 32-19 advantage at the halftime break. Coming out in the second half they cruised in for the final 14-point victory.
Cammi Unruh led the Lady Wildcats in scoring with 12 while Kindall Elmore connected on three three-pointers to reach double digits with 11.
