In game one, the 7th-grade Junior Pups lost by 21, 36-15, to Maize South as Cooper Bohme led the scoring with six points.

Playing host Goddard Eisenhower in game two, the Junior Pups lost again, this time by 28, 45-17. Nico Monday led the Junior Pups in scoring with six.

According to 7th grade head coach Jay Crawford, “We played against two teams that were very aggressive and applied a lot of backcourt pressure. We did at times get the ball into the pain. We need to learn how to finish those shots as well as we needed to take our open shots on the perimeter. As always, this group competed and gave good effort.”
