            TOWANDA – On the road Friday and Saturday, the Smoky Valley girls wrestling team placed second as a team at the Circle Invitational while three Lady Vikings earned first place medals and one finished second.

            As a team the Lady Vikings rolled up 131.0 points to place second behind Invitational champion Labette County who scored 162.0. The remainder of the top-five teams out of 22 competing were third-place, Erueka with 118.0; fourth-place, Coffeyville with 107.5; and fifth-place, Chaparral with 103.

            Individually, Smoky Valley had three Lady Vikings take first in their division led by Noelle Peters at 110 as she had to win five matches to gain first in her division. Also placing first in their divisions with 4-0 records were Kenzie Crain at 115 and Taytum Reed at 120.

            Keira Mullen finished second at 135 after going 3-1 on the day while Haylee Sheetz, wrestling at 155, finished third by going 4-1.

LADY VIKINGS INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:

105 > Sara McCullick – went 1-4, placed 5th.

110 > Noelle Peters – went 5-0, placed 1st.

115 > Echo Clark – went 1-2.

115 > Kenzie Crain – went 4-0, placed 1st.

120 > Taytum Reed – went 4-0, placed 1st.

130 > Campbell Gaskill – went 1-2.

135 > Keira Mullen – went 3-1, placed 2nd.

155 > Haylee Scheetz – went 4-1, placed 3rd.
