INMAN – This past week, Josiah Buller, an outstanding athlete for Inman High School, signed his National Letter of Intent to play football and attend Bethel College in the fall of 2023.

Buller, a senior Teuton, has been an outstanding athlete for Inman performing at a top level in football, basketball and track.

For his senior year of football Buller took on the role of quarterback for five games and completed 39-of-65 passes for 672 yards, with 12 touchdowns and just one interception.

Playing six games at running back, Buller ended up with 153 yards on 49 carries, good for one touchdown.

Playing and starring for 11 games for the Teutons, Buller recorded 76 total tackles of which 29 were assisted and 47 were solo while making four interceptions, recovering three fumbles and getting one tackle for a loss of yardage.

Reflecting on his time coaching Buller, Teuton head football coach Lance Sawyer noted, “The Inman Teuton football team wished to congratulate Josiah Buller on pursuing his dream to play college football at Bethel College. Josiah was a two-year starter as well as a team captain. His determination, unselfishness, and intelligence has led us to two consecutive State Championship appearances. Josiah will be missed but he has left behind a legacy here at Inman.”

Buller will major in Business at Bethel College while devoting his time on the football field to playing defensive back.

According to Buller, “I chose Bethel College because it is a family tradition to attend Bethel and I enjoy the Bethel community. The campus has a great atmosphere.”
