            INMAN – Three members of the Inman boys and girls basketball teams earned all-league honors for the Heart of America.

            Two members of the Teuton boys were named first team all-league with junior Tanner Heckel and senior Eli Brunk.

            Heckel closed out the season averaging 19.7 points, and 6.0 rebounds per game while Eli Brunk finished his Teuton career averaging 14.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.

            Heckel will team with sophomore Brody Froese to build on for the 2023-24 Teuton boys.

            The Teuton boys closed out a solid season with a record of 18-4 when they lost to county rival and eventual Class 2A state champion Moundridge in Inman’s sub-state semi-finals.

            For the Lady Teutons, fabulous freshman topped her first season with a first-team, all-league honor after averaging 20.9 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.8 steals, and 1.9 assists per game. The Lady Teutons finished the season 10-12 after losing to Whitewater/Remington in the sub-state semi-finals.

            Harris gives the Lady Teutons much to be excited about for the 2023-24 season as she lead a team that was very young this past season. Returning along with Harris will be juniors Taeyln Friesen and Kami Woods along with freshmen Kenna Woods and Morgan Froese.
