            HALSTEAD – Competing with 16 teams in Halstead on Friday at the Conrad Nightengale Invitational, the Moundridge track/field teams finished tied for fourth on the boys side and ninth in the girls division.

            For the Wildcat boys, Kaden Elmore won the 200 meters and both the 4×100 and 4×400 meter relay teams won as well helping the team place tied for fourth with Smoky Valley. Berean Academy won the boys division with Pratt and Kingman placing second and third out of the 16 teams competing.

            Elmore also placed second in the 100 meters with Henry Hecox and Barrett Moddelmog finishing second and third in the javelin.

            While none of the Lady Wildcats won an event, Haylee Jantz took second in the 1,600 meters.

            Next for the Wildcat track/field athletes will be at Haven on Tuesday.
