LITTLE RIVER – It was a rough day Tuesday for the Little River softball team as they dropped both ends of a doubleheader to visiting Remington, losing game one 20-0 and then dropping the nightcap, 15-0.
The two losses put the Lady Redskins at 1-15 for the season as they prep to play at Moundridge on Friday.
In game one, Remington busted out to a 10-0 lead after two innings and then poured across 10 more runs total in innings three and four to take the 20-0 shutout win over Little River.
The only hit for the Lady Redskins came from Katie Collins as Kinsley Wohletz worked the mound Little River and did manage to strike out seven.
The nightcap did not any better for the Lady Redskins as Remington jumped out early with eight runs in the first, three in the second and then another four over innings three and four to gain another shutout victory over Little River.
Kayla Fox, Kinsley Wohletz, Katie Collins, and Brayli Teeters all had a hit for the Lady Redskins with Jailyn Millar pitching.
