At their Class 2-1A regional, the Inman baseball team did not have long to enjoy their first round win before they went to battle with second seed Whitewater/Remington in a game the third seeded Teutons lost by two, 4-2.
With the loss the Teutons close out their 2023 season with a record of 12-8.
Inman held a short lived 2-1 lead after two innings before Whitewater/Remington scored twice in the third to take a one run, 3-2 lead and then added an insurance run in the fifth to gain the final 2-run, 4-2 victory over the Teutons.
Jesse Ballard had the only multi-hit game for the Teutons as he had two hits and Grant Weins used his lone hit to pound out a double.
Caleb Bigler did a solid job pitching for Inman as he went the whole game, used 103 pitches in which he gave up seven hits, three earned runs, three walks and struck out six.
